Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Volunteers help advocate on behalf of missing and exploited children through child safety outreach in many forms: Child ID events, community presentations, parent and student education and the Emergency Volunteer Search Force. There are many opportunities in which you too can make a difference.
Please note that all volunteers must be 18 or older and undergo criminal background checks and training prior to their participation in any volunteer activity.
The first step to volunteering is to call us at (702) 458-7009 or register on-line!!
Who Volunteers?

Volunteer Opportunities
Safety and Fingerprinting Events: Volunteers are called upon to help at events hosted by local organizations, businesses, and schools to fingerprint children, and distribute child safety information and personal identification packets to parents. Volunteers are trained by the Nevada Child Seekers staff in these specific areas.
Special Events Volunteer: In order to continue providing our services to the community, Nevada Child Seekers depends upon donations and monies raised during fundraising events. We have several fundraising events each year and need volunteer assistance with mailing invitations, assembling gift bags, and setting up and working the events.
Volunteer Search Force: Be a part of the team that works in partnership with law enforcement agencies to search for missing loved ones. Volunteers are instructed by local law enforcement and Nevada Child Seekers staff in basic search functions and procedures, utilization of volunteers during a search, contacting people during a search, and evidence recognition and preservation.
Flyer and E-Flyer Team: Nevada Child Seekers will send Missing Children Flyers to volunteers who will in turn, make copies and distribute them around their neighborhoods or send electronically through e-mail. The more flyers we can get in front of the public, the more likely a child will be located.
Highly Specialized Volunteer Opportunities
Educational Safety Program: Nevada Child Seekers presents Shout Out Loud to thousands of pre-school and school age children in Southern Nevada. The program is designed to mitigate non-parental abduction and teach children to tell if anyone makes them feel uncomfortable. The 30-minute presentation is done in small groups with the use of puppets and coloring books.
** Training is provided.
** volunteers must agree to provide a minimum of two, one-hour presentations in the year following their training.
