Sheriff’s Round-Up!

The outdoor entrance was surrounded by western-themed decorations such as hay, lanterns, wagons,  lariats, and even buckets of root beer generously donated by Joseph James Brewing Company Inc.

Helldorado Days came to round up and incarcerate the guests on their “Wanted” list

 

 

Board Member, Councilman Steve Wolfson, was one of the first to be jailed!

 

 

Even Executive Director of Nevada Child Seekers (NCS), Stephanie Parker (right), faced a 10 minute jail sentence along with Carla Alston of the LVMPD!

 

 

The guests really enjoyed this year’s Silent Auction. Some items included: a Foursome at Royal Links Golf Club and Desert Pines Golf Club, Maverick Helicopter Ride, Marie Osmond Collectible Doll, Jewelry from Michael E. Minden Jewelers, Disney’s “Lion King” tickets, autographed sports memorabilia, and much more!

Lee Haney presented the 2009 Child Advocate of the Year Award to Sheriff Doug Gillespie.

 

 

 

UNLV’s Executive Chef, Chef John Gremo, along with his cooking staff of students delivered a wonderful dining experience for all of the guests at Le Gala de Cuisine.

 

Let the bidding wars begin! Councilman Steve Wolfson and Councilman Stavros Anthony compete for one of our great live auction items. Our live auction this year contained many items such as: LVMPD Helicopter ride, Red Rock Country Club Memberships, Diamond Earrings, a UNLV private international dinner party, and much more!
