To advocate for and engage in prevention, identification, and location efforts on behalf of missing and exploited children.

Who We Are

Nevada Child Seekers, a registered nonprofit organization, created in 1985, and incorporated in 1996. We are the only nonprofit, missing children’s organization in Nevada and we do not charge for our services. We diligently work to keep parents closely involved in their cases and are available to assist the proper authorities. Trained, police-screened volunteers carry out many of our education programs enabling us to be efficient and effective. For more information visit Programs and Services


According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, roughly 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States — that’s roughly 2,000 per day. Of those, there are 115 child “stranger abduction” cases each year, which means the child was taken by an unknown person. Not only does Nevada Child Seekers assist families and law enforcement in locating missing children in Nevada we also offer free safety workshops to the community.

Nevada Child Seekers believes in empowering children to recognize when they may be in an unsafe situation and ways to report incidents that make them feel scared or confused. Programs & Services

Of these cases, Nevada Child Seekers has closed 917 cases by locating the child. In addition, our recovery rate is approximately 78%

In 2013, your support allowed us to provide:

    6,121 Child ID Packets

    Shout Out Loud, abduction prevention education for 3,018 K-2nd grade students

    NetSmartz Internet Safety for over 6,646 students and over 540 parents and school administrators

    radKIDS Personal Empowerment Program for 729 students

    Operation Drug Free reached 11,033 students in the CCSD

    Case Management and Search Assistance for 288 missing children

    Total Children reached: 27,835
